Getting ready at a London hotel: makeup that works with your venue

Hotel rooms bring their own light, space and timings — a little planning makes all the difference.

Light and space

Hotel rooms can be bright in the morning and warm under evening lights. I plan makeup that behaves in both, so your photos before the ceremony look as good as the ones at the reception.

A room with good natural light and a table or desk is ideal. If space is tight, I work efficiently around your party without adding to the chaos.

Timing and access

Hotels often have set check-in times and photography windows. Confirm your room access and ceremony time early so the schedule works backwards correctly.

I arrive with everything needed, set up discreetly, and keep the morning on track — whether you're in a boutique hotel in Marylebone or a suite in Mayfair.

After the getting-ready photos

I leave you camera-ready with a small touch-up plan for the day. If you'd like, I can stay through the pre-ceremony photos to keep everyone flawless.

Hotels across London and Essex are covered — just tell me your venue when you enquire.
