Photo shoot & studio makeup, wherever you are shooting.
A photo shoot is a long day under bright lights, and makeup that looks good in the mirror can fail on camera. I travel to your studio or location across London and Essex, so you have a makeup artist on set who understands how skin, colour and shine read through a lens.
Studio and photo shoot work are the same job for me: I arrive at your hire studio, home set or outdoor location with a full kit, set up beside your lighting and stay for the day. You do not need to bring a makeup room, but a mirror, good light and a table make touch-ups quicker.
I work to your brief or moodboard, and adapt when the lighting or the shot list changes. Seven years of experience, training with NARS, MAC and Chanel, and campaign work including the PerfectTed Energy billboards mean I know how to keep talent camera-ready through hours of shooting.

Headshots and personal branding. The aim is polished but still recognisably you. I keep skin natural, control shine and define the eyes and brows so the face reads well at small sizes on LinkedIn or a website.
Fashion and beauty. Here the makeup is part of the concept. Bring a moodboard, and I will translate it into a look that works with your wardrobe, set and lighting, with options if the creative director wants to push it further.
Product and e-commerce. When the model is there to sell a product, the makeup must be clean, consistent and colour-accurate across dozens of frames. I keep the look identical from the first shot to the last.
Family, couple and maternity shoots. For personal shoots I aim for makeup that photographs beautifully while still looking like you on a normal day.
I am happy to speak to your photographer beforehand about the lighting set-up, backdrop colours and the final use of the images. Flash, daylight and continuous lighting all change how makeup reads, and a short conversation avoids surprises on the day.
A little preparation makes a big difference on camera. Drink plenty of water the day before, keep skin care simple and avoid trying new products or treatments in the days beforehand. Arrive with clean skin and, if your look involves hair, let me know the order of work so we do not clash on a tight schedule.
If you are shooting in a hire studio, check the hire time includes setup and touch-ups. As a rule, allow about 45 to 60 minutes for one person's full makeup, and more if there are several looks or people. I can advise on timings when you send the shot list.
I carry a wide shade range for different skin tones, camera-friendly foundations and concealers, powders that control shine without flattening the skin, cream and powder colour for cheeks, eyes and lips, and a hygiene set so every client has clean tools. Whatever the shoot, I bring enough to refresh the look between setups.
Photo shoot makeup across East London, Stratford, Hackney, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf, Romford and Ilford, throughout London, and into Essex including Brentwood, Chelmsford and Colchester. Ask if your studio is outside these areas.

A mirror, a chair and decent light are enough. A table for my kit helps. I bring everything else.
